Thanksgiving Day at Brenham House

Thanksgiving Day at Brenham House is always a fun day.  This year Thanksgiving Day is November 21, 2013.  If you book two consecutive nights, at Brenham House Bed and Breakfast, and it overlaps Thanksgiving Day we will provide you with a complimentary Thanksgiving meal, at 5:30 p.m.  It is a traditional turkey dinner with dressing, brandied cranberries, vegetables, bread, and a dessert and tea, coffee and water.

Thanksgiving Day at Brenham House

Here is how the Thanksgiving Day at Brenham House will go.  After resting the night before you will awaken to a full southern breakfast, at 9:00 a.m.  It will be served to you as you enjoy the morning conversation, with other guests.  Some Thanksgivings we have had families take the entire house for the holiday.  We have 5 rooms in our bed and breakfast and can accommodate 11-12 people.  This way you can enjoy Thanksgiving with out cooking and all of the dishes!  If you and a friend don’t want to cook yourselves, just book your room and we will do the work so you can enjoy the holiday together!

After breakfast you can relax with a book, watch a movie in the privacy of your own room or go out and explore the neighborhood.  Downtown will be closed for the holiday, but you can walk the downtown and window shop along the way.  We also have a Cinema 6 and you may want to go and take in a movie.  Bring your bikes and ride the country roads.  We have wonderful parks you can walk though while taking in the fresh air.  Take time to count your blessings, which in our busy lives, we sometimes take for granted.  Spend some time talking with the one your love and just enjoy the day.  Of course, there is also a lot of football going on Thanksgiving Day and you can enjoy watching your favorite teams play!  Just make sure you are back at Brenham House in time to freshen up for your early evening Thanksgiving meal at 5:30 p.m.

Don’t delay book your rooms at Brenham House now!  The rooms will fill up quickly. We look forward to seeing you this Thanksgiving Day.
