Brenham Texas Hot Nights Cool Tunes

May 13th, 2014 by Susan Lopez

Brenham Texas Hot Nights Cool Tunes takes place every Saturday in July.  This is Brenham’s tenth year to present this concert series of Hot Nights Cool Tunes.  Summer fun in Brenham!  Where your shorts and sandals.  Tie your hair up and grab your lawn chair and flashlight.  As the sun goes down at about 7:00 P.M. and the cool breezes begin to blow, Brenham downtown becomes a Cool place with Hot Tunes!  Alamo street is closed down to car traffic and people start heading into the downtown, with their lawn chairs and flashlights.  If your are walking home or back to Brenham House Bed and Breakfast be sure to bring a flashlight.  It will be dark as you return home.

Each Saturday a professional band sets up at Baylor and Alamo.  The historic square of Brenham Texas comes alive.  Antique cars, trucks, and tractors set up at the East end of Alamo, for everyone to view.  There are vendors with food and drinks, around the courthouse, for everyone to enjoy.  The food sales support the community, and help keep the concerts free.  The concerts are fun for the whole family.
