Boeing Boeing Starts Unity's 20th Season

First show in the line up Of Unity’s 20th season

“Boeing Boeing” starts Unity’s 20th season off with a great comedy.  What better way to kick the season off than with a classic 1960’s farce?  “Boeing Boeing” is the story of a bachelor named Bernard, who couldn’t be happier living, in a flat, in Paris while engaged to Gloria, Gabriella and to Gretchen.  The playboy bachelor was living the life, juggling the arrivals and departures of the three gorgeous flight attendants.  This supersonic lifestyle of Bernard goes into a tailspin when flight schedules change, and all three women arrive at his apartment, on the same evening!

“Boeing Boeing” was made into a movie starring comedian Jerry Lewis and Tony Curtis.  The movie premiered in December 1965.  The stage production later enjoyed a revival, in 2007, on the West End in London. The play was perfomed on Broadway, in 2008, and won the Tony Award that year for Best Revival of a play.
