Chappell Hill Scarecrow Festival takes place in downtown Chappell Hill, Texas. Â Chappell Hill, Texas is a small rural community between Houston and Austin, Texas. Â This fun Chappell Hill Scarecrow Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13, 2013. Â The festival hours are:
- Saturday, October 12, 2013, 9:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
- Sunday, October 13, 2013, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Chappell Hill Scarecrow Festival is a short 12 minute drive from Brenham, Texas. That is great for those of you who will be staying with us, at Brenham House Bed and Breakfast. Â We will serve breakfast in the morning and then you can head out to the Chappell Hill Scarecrow Festival.
 It is scheduled at a great time of year, as the fall season approaches.  There will be 250 juried exhibitors selling home decor, yard art, arts and crafts, artists, craftsmen showing their wooden scarecrows, clothes, jewelry, and just about anything and everything you can imagine. Â
Chappell Hill Scarecrow Festival will have live entertainment and music. There will be great country styled commercial food booths.  Chappell Hill Scarecrow Festival is free.  There is no parking on the streets, but you will find $5.00 parking in the lots.  There will also a special children’s corner where you will find pony rides, petting zoo, face painting, barrel train and more.
The Chappell Hill Scarecrow Festival is hosted by the Chappell Hill Historical Society, a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation of the community’s historic buildings and it’s history.  Their mission for the Chappell Hill Scarecrow Festival is to present a high quality and fun festival for all to enjoy.  The Chappell Hill Scarecrow Festival is a fun event in the surrounding Chappell Hill National Historical District.  Come on out and support this great cause and have a great time with your friends.
