Christmas Charm Downtown BrenhamChristmas Charm Downtown Brenham is the most wonderful place to be.  There is so much to do and see in Brenham.  Brenham offers a professional theatre.  This December the Unity Theatre will present “A Christmas Story”.  A fun comedy by Philip Grecian based on the novel by Jean Sheperd.  This show will be presented December 5-22, 2019.  For tickets go to Unity Theatre.

Christmas Charm Downtown Brenham also includes the beautiful Barnhill Center. This season there will be a Gatlin Brothers’ concert.  Also in December “Home Alone” will be showing at The Barnhill Center.  This is a special venue that has been restored and is so lovely to experience.  Plan now and get your tickets early on The Barnhill Center site.

Christmas Stroll and Lighted Parade

Another sweet Brenham activitiy for December is the Christmas Stroll and Lighted parade.  The entire weekend of December 6-7, 2019.  There will be shopping, windows dressed up with lights, music, to set the Christmas tone.  At 5:30 on Friday there will be a tree lighting ceremony and caroling at the Gazebo.  On Saturday evening as the sun goes down there will be the Lighted parade with lots of lights and carolers singing throughout the parade.  The Jingle Bell Market at the Ant Street Inn Ballroom will be open both days to find those unique gifts and stocking stuffers.

Don’t forget the 4 Star Concert Hall and Home Sweet Farm for fun nighttime concerts and music.  All of this takes place in Downtown Brenham.  There are many great restaurants in Downtown Brenham so there are no worries about where you can eat.  Overnight lodging is also easy to find.  May I suggest our Brenham House Bed and Breakfast.  Brenham House a full traditional BnB.   A full breakfast is serve each morning.  Brenham House is located just blocks from the historic downtown.
